Time is now to get ready for the start of the Spring 2012 52DC which starts on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.  I decided to shake things up a bit.

First, I am not entering the 3600 Challenge.  It had become too limiting.  I wanted to do something else for Cardio rather than 20 minutes on the Treadmill and 2-3 circuits of the 3600 exercises.  This time around, I will be doing squat thrusts with push-ups in a Count Down format.  First set 10, then 9 – until the last set is just one rep.  If there is time left – I will spend it on the Treadmill cooling down.  If things really get good – I just may add chin-ups to the set.  I will add a Personal Goal of 1,000 Burpees with Push-ups.

This leaves out a number of exercises that I want to do.  I have now incorporated them into the structure of my basic Resistance Training workouts.

My DIY Workout Phase 9 incorporates those exercises and limits the sets to 5 reps.  Yep – going for heavier weights during the next 4-8 weeks.
